Brumbies boss Michael Jones has declared that the club can build a premiership win around new halfback Tomas Cubelli in 2016.

Cubelli was unveiled at Brumbies headquarters on Monday and there is high expectations on the Argentinian halfback.

“[Coach] Stephen Larkham was very specific as to what we wanted to replace Nic White and what we needed to take our team to the next level,” Jones said.

“We see 2016 as being a very important season for us.

“It's a great opportunity for us to win the Super Rugby championship and Tomas is an integral and very key part of that plan.

“The way he plays the game will fit in with us and our existing squad is something we've thought about a lot and we'll build a lot of our game around him. We're very fortunate to have him here.”
