Defending champion Novak Djokovic has advanced to the second round of the Australian Open with a 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 win over 19-year-old Hyeon Chung.

Djokovic enjoyed the perfect start to the match, hitting an ace with the first serve of the match.

The five-time Australian Open champion hit 40 winners and ten aces on his way the straight sets win.

He will now face either Ivan Dodig or Quentin Halys in the second round.
