World No.1 Novak Djokovic has won his 700th career match with a straight sets win in the second round of the Dubai Championships.

Djokovic defeated Tunisian wildcard Malek Jaziri 6-1, 6-2 to achieve the milestone.

He joins Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal as the only current players to have over 700 career wins.

Djokovic's career record now sits at 700-146.

He will face six seed Feliciano Lopez in the quarterfinals, after he recorded a 6-3, 7-6 win over Czech Lukas Rosol.
