Young Australian Daria Gavrilova says she can beat anyone she comes up against at the upcoming Australian Open.

Gavrilova, who won the recent Hopman Cup with fellow Aussie Nick Kygrios, is riding a huge wave of confidence after an impressive summer thus far.

"I've probably had the best year of my tennis life last year, I played some great tennis and beat some amazing players so I'm really looking forward to be being back and playing here in front of a home crowd," she said.

"With the way I'm playing right now, I can beat anyone."

The 21-year-old withdrew from the Sydney International with an abdominal strain, but is expected to be fully fit for the beginning of the Open.
