Retiring Australian great Lleyton Hewitt has been honoured at the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

Hewitt was presented with a framed poster listing his career achievements in front of a 17,800 strong crowd at the London O2 arena.

Former world No. 1s Boris Becker, John McEnroe Mats Wilander and Rafael Nadal were also present.

“I feel old. I've just being watching Andy [Murray] and Rafa [Nadal] and I was thinking that the game has evolved so much over the years,” Hewitt said.

“It was many years ago that I won this season-ending tournament and when I held the No.1 trophy.

“The Tour has been a big part of my life and I've loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone for supporting me.”

Hewitt won the season ending ATP World Tour Finals on two occasions.
