Aussie young gun Bernard Tomic has produced a stunning performance to upset No.2 seed Kei Nishikori 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 at the Brisbane International.

Tomic will now face Milos Raonic in the semi finals, after the big serving Canadian beat Lucas Pouille 6-4, 6-4 earlier in the day.

The 23-year-old Aussie come back from an early break down in the first set, before reeling off five straight games to claim the opening set.

Nishikori then turned the tables on the Aussie taking the second set in a canter, before Tomic rallied, to complete a hugely impressive victory.
