Australian Bernard Tomic has withdrawn from Indian Wells due to a wrist injury.

Tomic trailed 6-2, 3-0 against Canadian Milos Raonic in the third round when he retired injured.

The 23-year-old won just 18 points for the match and struggled to hold serve, as Raonic broke four times.

Tomic is in doubt for next week's Miami Open and was reportedly already scheduled to have scans on his wrist after his match against Raonic.
