Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova have set up a tantalizing quarterfinal clash, after both won their fourth round matches on Sunday.

The pair will face off in a rematch of the 2015 Australian Open final, which Williams won in straight sets.

Williams defeated unseeded Russian Margarita Gasparyan 6-2, 6-1 in just 55 minutes, while Sharapova had a much tougher time, defeating young Swiss Belinda Bencic in two hard fought sets, 7-5, 7-5.

The No.5 seed eventually overcame Bencic thanks to a huge 21 aces and 58 winners.
